The Versatile Blogger Award

Sharing is caring!

Bloggers wear many hats and acquire numerous skills in the process of maintaining a little space on the internet we like to call our own. From SEO to web design, UX experience, content creation, social media, planning, brainstorming, and photography, we are the essence of versatile. I know that I’ve been fine-tuning all these skills since I started this blog in May 2019.

I am so grateful to be recognized and nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award. This is my second award, and both times I’ve been nominated from April from Rodes on the Road.

April is a Filipino-American and blogs about family travel and lifestyle. She was one of the first people that I really started to interact with inside the blogging world when I first started.

The Versatile Blogger award

The Rules

“When you consider nominating a fellow blogger for the Versatile Blogger Award, consider the quality of the writing, the uniqueness of the subjects covered, the level of love displayed in words on the virtual page. Or, of course, the quality of the photographs and the level of love displayed in the taking of them.”

  • Thank the person who gave you this award. That’s common courtesy.
  • Include a link to their blog. That’s also common courtesy — if you can figure out how to do it.
  • Next, select 15 blogs/bloggers that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly. (I would add, pick blogs or bloggers that are excellent!)
  • Nominate those 15 bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award
  • Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself.

7 Facts About Me

  1. I was stung by a jellyfish in the Philippines when I was 12 years old. I haven’t been back to the Philippines since then.
  2. I have been teaching English since 2017 and I never thought I would become a teacher. Let alone a teacher in Asia. My background is in marketing and sales.
  3. I have only been to 2 live concerts and they’ve all been in Thailand. I’ve seen The Weeknd and Ed Sheeran.
  4. I don’t buy souvenirs from anywhere. I think they just take up space in a suitcase.
  5. I actually like pineapple on pizza. Go ahead, unfollow me now.
  6. I really miss having an oven and being able to bake cookies. Ovens aren’t a thing in Thailand. Everything is pan-fried or BBQ’d.
  7. I used to have a knit shop online for scarves, hats, and leg warmers. But that business didn’t really work out.
