As an international educator since 2017, I’ve picked up many useful skills in the classroom and abroad that can be applied to freelancing. I’m constantly being pushed out of my comfort zone making me easily adaptable to new situations. Teaching young learners has taught me how to be flexible and think on my feet to accommodate those short attention spans. My classroom and coworkers have always been a diverse group of people full of new ideas and creativity.
As in any work environment, communication is key. And what better communicator than an educator! We make sure parents, co-teachers, management, and or course, our students are receiving clear instruction and information.
